RDK Melanoma Foundation hosted its annual SAMposium on Saturday October 21 for members of SAM (Students Against Melanoma) Clubs in Palm Beach County.

It was a fun and educational afternoon in which the students heard from Melanoma survivors Dan Sheehan and Dave Aizer, participated in interactive discussions on sun safety facts, fundraising ideas and community outreach events.

The students learned about the dangers of overexposure to the sun, the importance of prevention and early detection and the knowledge to serve as advocates in their schools and communities to help in changing behaviors and saving lives.

The schools that took part in the SAMposium were: Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Forest Hill Community High, Inlet Grove Community High , John I Leonard, Jupiter Community High, Suncoast High, William T. Dwyer High and Oswego East High in Illinois.

We are so proud of our SAM Clubs ambassadors who are such an important part of the RDK Melanoma Foundation!
