5th Annual Run From The Rays 5K Run. Spanish River Athletic Complex (off Spanish River Blvd), Boca Raton. Accuchip timing, 5 year age group awards 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24…80+. Top 3 overall M/F. Top 3 Masters M/F. USATF certified 5K course. Post run healhty & delicious breakfast provided by Fit Foodz Cafe, refreshments. Finisher medals to all 5K finishers! 1 mile run/walk starts 8:00am (t-shirts to 1st 100 registered in 1 mile). Proceeds from the event benefit selected charities which provide screening, treatment, education and research of Melanoma and other forms of Skin Cancer. Past Race beneficiaries include: The Caridad Center of Palm Beach County, Melanoma Research at Moffitt Cancer Center now partnered with Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s Lynn Cancer Center, Dermatology Medical Missions, Inc., as well as The Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation.
