Sequin Jewelers of Worth Avenue hosted a Shop for a Cause event Dec. 14 to benefit the Richard David Kann (RDK) Melanoma Foundation. Guests enjoyed refreshments as they shopped the Sequin collections, of which 20 percent of the sales went toward the foundation’s mission to save lives “through education about prevention and early detection of skin cancer, especially melanoma.”
The foundation will host its 19th annual Luncheon and Fashion Show, “Eclipse 2018,” Stacy Ostrau and Joanne Pinciss Lucille Hume and Sunnie Eggarhos on Feb. 20 at The Breakers. Joan G. Rubin and Nancy Hart will serve as chairwomen, while Merrill Fisher Gottesman serves as honorary chairwoman along with Herme deWyman Mlro, Mary Bryant Mccourt, Marianne Gold and Ari Rifkin.
