Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation’s Dreyfoos SAM (Students Against Melanoma) Club in conjunction with Spa Cara, Palm Beach

“ALTERNATIVE TO OVER-EXPOSURE TO THE SUN AND THE USE OF DEADLY TANNING BEDS!”

The Dreyfoos School of the Arts SAM Club, RDK Melanoma Foundation Executive Director, Stacy Ostrau, and Spa Cara Director Heather Champion (melanoma survivor) will be offering free Natural Glow spray tans ($55 value) to the first 50 confirmed reservations. Demonstrating a safe alternative to deadly UV tanning bed usage (and over-exposure to the sun). Students will be sharing their knowledge as they speak about tanning precautions and sun safety protocol regarding melanoma. There will be a diagnostic Dermaview machine on-site revealing already damaged skin, many important handouts, as well as “No Tanning Bed Pledges” to sign for attendees and families.

“SPRAYS ~ NO UV RAYS” is designed to encourage people not to use indoor tanning beds. Tanning beds greatly increase ones chances of developing melanoma. We also want to enforce the message to “love the skin you are in”. Tanning is old world thinking and Spa Cara with RDK Melanoma Foundation wish to provide a safe alternative this year. If one MUST get tan for prom, breaks or homecoming, this event will help influence their choices when it comes to getting tan!

There are many things to learn for people of all ages! Free goodie bags from RDK Melanoma Foundation and Spa Cara
