Thank you all for participating last night. This was our first countywide event, and we thank Quantum Foundation for believing in our mission, and understanding that there is strength in numbers!
Students want to know when the next Revolutions event will occur, and we will pick a date. Next week Jupiter SAM is sponsoring the Clematis by Fright booth, and we have several more events planned, so we hope to see you then!
We will be getting our shirts and hats soon, so we can shine (with SPF of course).
Our statistical data sheets revealed the following. My take on this…EVERYONE needs to be wearing their hats and shirts, so let’s make sure we set a good example, but doing the same.
100% of students have NEVER been in a tanning bed
100% of the students DO understand the consequences of using a tanning bed
37% of students wear rash guards, 62% do NOT!!! and 1% said sometimes. I thank the student who said they WILL NOW.
50% of students wear hats when outdoors, 25% DO NOT, 25% do sometimes.
Everyone have a great sun safe weekend. It is going to be gorgeous, so be SunSmart, and tell one other person!
